I (along with my awesome team) manage a core distributed systems software, similar to Apache Zookeeper using PAXOS, upon which the rest of AWS and Amazon.com rest.
I started my career in Bangalore, where I was working for the Business Intelligence Arm of SAP.
I eventually made my way to the SAP Research where I developed the backend infrastructure of a really cool research project to analyze online product reviews.
Along the way were hackathons, some really innovative feature developments and patents.
Education
I am currently pursuing my MBA at Harvard Business School
I did my Masters in Computer Science from Cornell University
Took a variety of courses - Distributed Systems, Large Scale Information Systems, Natural Language Processing, and Machine Learning. I also fiddled with Heuristic Methods of Optimization, Electronic Commerce and Managerial Finance
My Masters project advisor was Prof. Claire Cardie
I did my undergraduate in Information Technology from VIT Vellore
